Jet Aviation is proud to be a Show Partner for Art Basel in Basel 2026, where we bring together the worlds of pioneering aviation design and contemporary art with an exclusive lounge inspired by our VVIP completions, and designed by the Jet Aviation Design Studio.
During the week of Art Basel in Basel, the Jet Aviation Lounge is welcoming customers and event attendees to discover our brand and story first-hand. The Jet Aviation Design Studio conceived the Lounge as an experience that reflects our leading aviation design, and captures the calm elegance and architectural refinement of being “on a cloud”.
Visitors explore this concept through a spatial, even sculptural, experience. Drawing on the elegance of flight and inspired by aeronautical principles, the Lounge’s geometry is precise and its proportions balanced. Forms are fluid, materials rich, and the atmosphere effortlessly elevated. Every detail is meticulously considered, revealing an uncompromising dedication to craftsmanship.
“This is a space where design transcends function, capturing the poetry of movement and the allure of precision in a seamless, immersive experience,” explains Grischa Schmidt, Senior Director Interior Design Studio. “In the Lounge, design is not only expressed but engineered, demonstrating a mastery of both aesthetic intent and technical delivery”.

The space flows through four distinct yet fluid zones.. In the warm, residential atmosphere of the entranceway, visitors encounter a sculptural reception, a curated display of “The Craft of Flight” coffee table book, created by Jet Aviation in collaboration with Monocle, as well as a display of selected design awards.
Upon moving further inside, Jet Aviation’s global presence takes the stage, with an artistic interpretation of our global network; a light-based installation telling the story of our roots in Basel and locations around the globe.
Throughout, Jet Aviation’s hallmark attention to detail in every design is on display. Every material, color, and texture has been carefully selected to express our approach: precise, thoughtful and refined. A central tactile collection showcases stone, leather and fabrics, providing an opportunity for sensory engagement, and to experience the special moments that bring an aircraft interior to life.
The seating area invites rest and interaction, amid warm lighting and softened acoustics, while digital elements integrate seamlessly into a space designed for conversation.
This intentional space is a bridge between the art of flight and the world of art. It is a space where craftsmanship, creativity and design thinking blend to create a distinctive and memorable experience that replaces explanation, encouraging meaningful conversations and lasting impressions.
It is a space that invites guests to take a moment of reflection, to relax, connect and experience a story of almost 60 years of craftsmanship, innovation, and passion, in Basel and beyond.
