The Jet Aviation Lounge at Art Basel in Basel
This sense of ease, minimalism and care is evoked in the Jet Aviation Lounge at Art Basel in Basel. A haven of peace and tranquility, the space evokes the calm and quiet of the Jet Aviation experience through a neutral palette, soft, tactile finishes and subtle cloud motifs. Designed by the Jet Aviation Design Studio, the Lounge invites guests to take a moment of reflection, to enjoy relaxed conversation and connections, and discover a story of almost 60 years of craftsmanship, innovation, and passion, in Basel and beyond.
The story of Jet Aviation began in Basel, Switzerland, in 1967, with an idea to provide seamless, personalized services for the growing business aviation industry. Over the decades, the company has evolved to encompass some 50 sites worldwide, with over 4,500 artisans of aviation supporting customers across maintenance, VIP cabin design and craftsmanship, management, charter, staffing, and private terminals. These are the hands behind the scenes that sculpt flight in its smoothest form, the effort behind effortless – the artistry behind the art of flight.
