One year in the City of Light: Jet Aviation Paris-Le Bourget looks ahead

One year after joining the Jet Aviation network, Paris-Le Bourget has quickly become one of the company’s most distinctive FBO locations in EMEA — combining direct access to one of Europe’s leading business aviation airports with a guest experience shaped by the elegance, privacy and attention to detail expected in Paris.

Jet Aviation acquired the Paris-Le Bourget FBO operations in August 2025, expanding its global FBO network into one of the world’s most important business aviation markets. The location offers ground handling services for passengers, crew and aircraft, and is positioned by Jet Aviation as a modern FBO that reflects the style and elegance of the City of Light.

For Franck Canu, FBO Manager at Jet Aviation Paris-Le Bourget, the first year has confirmed both the scale of the opportunity and the strength of the service experience the team is building.

“Paris-Le Bourget is where the business is,” says Franck. “It is one of the most important business aviation airports in Europe, and our first year has shown the strength of the market, the expectations of our customers, and the dedication of our team.”

Located just minutes from central Paris, the FBO supports a wide range of business aviation missions, from private aircraft movements and crew services to larger aircraft, high-profile passengers and complex handling requirements. According to Franck, Le Bourget sees around 60,000 movements per year, making it a critical location for customers operating to and from the French capital.

The Paris-Le Bourget experience is also intentionally distinctive. Guests arriving by car are welcomed by a dedicated voiturier, with luggage handled discreetly and transferred through the appropriate security process, while passengers are escorted into the lounge by the customer care team. Inside, butler service, quiet hospitality spaces and direct tarmac access help create an atmosphere Franck describes as closer to a Parisian grand hotel than a conventional FBO.

“Guests should feel taken care of from the moment they arrive, while the operational work behind the scenes remains effortless from their perspective.”

“The service model here is unique,” he says. “The aim is to keep the experience calm, seamless and personal. Guests should feel taken care of from the moment they arrive, while the operational work behind the scenes remains effortless from their perspective.”

That balance — visible ease supported by precise operational coordination — has been central to the first year of Jet Aviation Paris-Le Bourget. The site has seen strong customer demand, including larger aircraft and increased traffic during peak events in the Paris calendar. For the team, that has meant supporting a busy and varied operation while continuing to shape the FBO’s place within the wider Jet Aviation network.

The first anniversary is therefore more than a milestone. It is a moment to recognize the role Paris-Le Bourget now plays in Jet Aviation’s regional FBO offering, and to look ahead to the next phase of growth.

“Our focus now is on building from this first year,” says Franck. “We have a very special location, a very strong team, and a service experience that sets us apart. The opportunity is to keep developing the operation so we can serve our customers even better and continue strengthening Jet Aviation’s presence in Paris.”

As Jet Aviation Paris-Le Bourget enters its second year, the ambition is clear: to continue delivering premium FBO services at one of Europe’s most important business aviation gateways, while building on the distinctive Paris experience that has defined its first year in the City of Light.
