César, how long have you worked for Jet Aviation?

I joined Jet Aviation in 1995 on the tarmac and was transferred to a hangar position two years later in 1997.

How did you come to Jet Aviation?

Jet Aviation is one of the best companies on site at Geneva Airport and I knew I wanted to work for Jet. I love the good team spirit and work environment that we have at Jet, and that is what motivates me to stay here.

Can you briefly describe your job: I lead the paint shop as well as the cleaning shop. I have been managing these two shops for approximately eight years. Prior to that, I was responsible for the paint shop activities for more than 15 years.

What one word would describe how you approach your job?

Passion. I love what I do and take great pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.

What is a typical day?

We have a team meeting every morning, during which I dispatch my team according to the different cleaning activities that are scheduled for the day. I check each aircraft's project priority, schedule the tasks and assign people accordingly. I also support my team on several tasks that need to be performed. I am a painter by trade and am happy to help when needed. We are a real team in that sense. Everyone is always ready to do what they can, and I trust and rely on my team to pull together and do what they can. They all give their very best.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

I love managing my team and sharing in the joy and satisfaction of getting the work done to the best of our abilities.

And what do you enjoy about working for Jet Aviation?

The work environment is great.

What are the main challenges you face in your role?

It is sometimes difficult to juggle and balance our daily work demands with the multiple requests we receive each day. I always strive to find the best solution to make our customers happy.

If you could describe working at Jet in three words, what would they be?


I think we can be very proud of the quality work we deliver. The work is very challenging, often involving last minute requests from customers or maintenance, and we always try to satisfy all demands in the time requested. I am very close to my team, which is quite large. It is my responsibility to coordinate cleanings and paint jobs with the production department and I always try to my best for the team.

What has been the biggest highlight of your career at Jet?

The work we did in the image above was a very big job for us, and I am pleased to say the customer was very happy with our work.
