Jet Aviation Design Studio Wins Industry Award

BASEL, Switzerland / September 26, 2025 – Jet Aviation announced today that the Jet Aviation Design Studio has won in the Elite Aviation Concept category at the Elite Awards 2025, organized by design et al. The company won with its Cirrus concept cabin for a VVIP business jet interior.
The concept explores Jet Aviation’s commitment to innovation in aircraft interiors, considering the integration of cutting-edge design techniques such as 3D veneer and integrated LED lighting in cabinetry, and curved valance panels, in a reimagined cabin concept of the future.
These elements are complemented by an organic minimalistic aesthetic which pairs warm, traditional accents, soft curves in tactile fabrics, low earth tones, and ambient lighting, with smooth wooden surfaces and sleek metallic accents. Throughout, the space is infused with a sense of emotion, material richness, and thoughtful detail, centering the interior around the passenger experience.
“I am incredibly proud to see our Cirrus concept recognized at the Elite Awards,” says Christoph Fondalinski, vice president completions at Jet Aviation. “I would like to congratulate the team – both those in the Design Studio, and across the organization, whose commitment to innovation and fine craftsmanship enable us to envision such ground-breaking interiors. As a Design Studio embedded within a completions center, the team operate at the cutting-edge of our industry. Their seamless collaboration with our in-house engineering, production and installation teams gives them unparalleled insight into the intricacies of aviation interior design. The result is the creativity we see on display with Cirrus, and across all of our completion projects.”
The Elite Awards celebrate design in the residential, hospitality, yacht, and aviation industries. Nominees are selected by design et al who assess the finest projects of the year across three of their annual Awards.
“The team and I are moved by the overwhelming support we have received. Thank you to everyone who voted for Cirrus. We are incredibly humbled by this recognition and honored to represent Jet Aviation’s industry-leading capabilities on the world stage,” says Grischa Schmidt, senior director interior design at Jet Aviation. “Our close, trusted relationships with customers allow us to anticipate not only their needs and preferences, but also their unspoken aspirations. Our design concepts are grounded in this understanding — going beyond the brief to push the boundaries of aviation interiors.”
Earlier this year, the Cirrus concept won the Private Jet Design – Concept Award at design et al’s International Yacht & Aviation Awards. Jet Aviation has previously also been recognized at the Elite Awards, when its VVIP ACJ319neo interior was announced as a winner in 2023.
