From Repair to Resale Jet Aviation Deepens Cooperation with Switlik

The safety of our customers is the number one priority when it comes to the repair and maintenance of every single part of an aircraft in our hands. This is especially true for safety equipment such as life vests. Through dedicated trainings for our maintenance technicians, the careful choice of excellent products, and the seamless cooperation with manufacturers, Jet Aviation strives to provide the highest level of safety and reliability possible. One example of such cooperation is Jet Aviation’s new, extended partnership with the U.S. based company Switlik. Jet Aviation and Switlik recently signed an agreement that makes Jet Aviation the exclusive reseller of the company’s life vests for Business Aviation customers outside of the United States.

Switlik has been producing and selling life vests to airlines and general aviators around the world for over 60 years and has a long-standing reputation for quality, performance, and innovation. Last year, Switlik's experts trained six maintenance technicians from Jet Aviation Basel to become certified on the life jackets.

“The team is now fully qualified to repair, overhaul, and re-certify Switlik life vests for maintenance customers,” explains Franck Pfertzel, Team Leader Wheel & Emergency Shop.
