Jet Aviation introduces new general director at Jet Aviation Moscow VnukovoSeptember 12, 2013
As general director of the Moscow maintenance facility, Vitaly Aleksikov is responsible for overseeing operations at the maintenance and AOG facility, including supply chain management and quality control, as well as acting as the company's interface with aviation authorities and the local community.
Aleksikov joined Jet Aviation in 2009 as quality assurance manager and was appointed director of Engineering in 2012. Previously, he held senior engineering positions with ITEK AIR, JSC, CJSC and Atlant-Soyuz Air Company; he also was an aircraft maintenance engineer with Kyrgyzstan Airlines. A Russian citizen fluent in English, Aleksikov is a graduate of Aviation University in Riga, Latvia, where he specialized in aircraft maintenance and engines.
