Title: JET AVIATION TETERBORO OFFERS TSA APPROVED FINGERPRINTING SERVICES FOR PILOTS AND FLIGHT CREW MEMBERS

Date: March 11, 2003 11:00:00 AM or Tue, 11 March 2003 11:00:00

Summary:

Body: In accordance with new Transportation Security Administration (TSA) regulations requiring all flight crew members to be fingerprinted for background and criminal history checks, Jet Aviation in Teterboro, NJ, is now offering TSA approved fingerprinting services. The new 12-5 ruling requires that pilots, flight engineers and flight navigators of private charter or commercial aircraft with maximum certified takeoff weights of 12,500 pounds or more have FBI criminal history background checks through fingerprinting by April 1, 2003.

"Several of our customer service representatives have completed the National Air Transportation Association's (NATA) approved TSA training program for fingerprinting. The TSA defined process involves fingerprinting procedures and a check-system for comparing the prints against the FBI database," said Michael Szczechowski, senior vp & general manager of Jet Aviation's Teterboro, NJ, location. According to Szczechowski, the facility uses the Live Scan computerized fingerprinting system, which provides the latest in biometric technology to produce fast and accurate fingerprints.

"In addition to serving our own crewmembers, we have served pilots and flight crew members from Million Air, Aircraft Services Group and Flexjet," said Jet Aviation customer service representative and trained fingerprinter Elisangela Fernandez. "Applicants for fingerprinting must bring two forms of identification with them, including one photo ID." According to Fernandez, applicants first must be registered with NATA by their employer to download and fill out the four required forms on the NATA website at www.natacompliance.com. Once the forms are filled out in the presence of Jet Aviation's authorized fingerprint representatives, the crew member is eligible for fingerprinting. For more information on Jet Aviation's fingerprinting services, call (201) 462 4075.

Jet Aviation Teterboro provides full FBO services, including quick turnarounds, domestic and international handling, complete line service, aircraft washing & cleaning and de-icing services. The facility is an FAA Certified Repair Station (#JZBR71OK) offering scheduled and unscheduled maintenance services in addition to 24-hour on-demand maintenance support to business jets. Jet Aviation Teterboro also provides aircraft charter, sales and management services.
