The Legacy aircraft Jet Aviation West Palm Beach named Legacy authorized service center by Embraer
West Palm Beach, FL — Jet Aviation West Palm Beach was recently named an authorized service center by Embraer for its new corporate aircraft, the Legacy.
William Stuck, vice president of maintenance and outfitting for Jet Aviation's West Palm Beach facility, said, "Since this is a brand-new aircraft on the market, this is a good opportunity for Jet Aviation to get in on the ground floor of a successful venture. Jet Aviation has joined the Legacy Authorized Service Center Network, which includes Embraer’s production facility in Brazil." Stuck explained that before the aircraft are delivered, key maintenance personnel will be sent to Brazil for training on the Legacy airframe and electrical systems.
The Executive Legacy aircraft has a range of 3,200 nautical miles while the Corporate Shuttle offers a range of 1,860 nautical miles. The Executive version is outfitted for 10-18 passengers and the Shuttle houses up to 19 passengers.
Artur Coutinho, Embraer’s executive vice-president of customer support, said, “We are proud to announce this strategic partnership with Jet Aviation. The company's West Palm Beach facility will offer our operators over 1.2 million square feet of hangar, office, workshop and ramp space. We have agreed to further enhance our worldwide maintenance network with Jet Aviation as more Legacy aircraft are delivered.”
In the United States, Jet Aviation operates four maintenance facilities in Dallas, Texas, Bedford, Massachusetts, Teterboro, New Jersey, and West Palm Beach, Florida. Jet Aviation West Palm Beach consists of five hangars totaling 160,176 sq. ft. (14,888 sq. m.). The facility provides full FBO services, maintenance and avionics support to business jets of all sizes and is a Dassault Falcon Jet authorized service center. In addition, the location has a state-of-the-art completions department and an in-house paint facility with a proven record for refurbishing Gulfstream, Falcon, Challenger and Hawker aircraft.
