Jet Aviation's Zurich FBO handled the majority of aircraft and delegates attending the 43rd annual World Economic Forum (WEF) held January 23-27 in Davos, Switzerland. Noting a slight increase in traffic compared to WEF 2012, Jet Aviation Zurich handled 747 movements and 1,531 passengers. Despite poor weather and fog disrupting flights early in the week, the Jet Aviation Zurich FBO set handling records on the days leading up to the annual World Economic Forum, managing 150 movements on Tuesday, January 22, and 126 movements on Wednesday, January 23. At the nearby military airport in Dubendorf, 28 of the 36 aircraft were handled by Jet Aviation. "We were very pleased to welcome and assist the heads of state and cabinet ministers arriving in Zurich to attend the World Economic Forum. Our employees provided the highest level of handling services to all those arriving," says Robert Whitehead, director FBO Jet Aviation Zurich.
