Jet Aviation opened a new Fixed Base Operation (FBO) facility at Berlin Schönefeld to provide handling services at Schönefeld and Tegel International airports. Jet Aviation is now operating out of Berlin Schönefeld, Germany, providing FBO services at Berlin's two international airports in Schönefeld and Tegel. The facility includes an operations office, a crew lounge and a VIP passenger lounge. "As a major international hub and a common point of entry to central Europe, Berlin is a key location for our customers," said Frank Kusserow, Jet Aviation's Director of FBO Services in Germany. "Many of our customers regularly fly between Berlin, Dusseldorf and our other worldwide FBOs, and they can now benefit from having the same handling provider." The company signed an agreement with Acciona Airport Services to support Jet Aviation with ground services and equipment at both airports. Philipp Walter has joined Jet Aviation from Acciona's Berlin operations and will manage the new Berlin FBO operation. The new Berlin FBO is under the direction of Kusserow, who also oversees the company's FBO in Dusseldorf. Jet Aviation's fixed base operations worldwide include Zurich and Geneva, Switzerland; Dusseldorf and Berlin, Germany; Jeddah, Riyadh and Medina, Saudi Arabia; Dubai, U.A.E; Singapore; and in the U.S., Boston/Bedford, Mass.; Dallas and Houston, Texas; Palm Beach, Fla.; St. Louis, Mo.; and Teterboro, N.J. All FBO and MRO customers visiting Jet Aviation FBO facilities in EMEA and Asia receive Jet Aviation's preferential fuel rates.
