Midcoast Aviation’s Skip Madsen named vice president – maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) for both sales and service

St. Louis, MO  —  Midcoast Aviation recently announced the appointment of Skip Madsen as vice president of MRO. In his new function he is responsible for MRO sales and services at the company’s headquarters in St. Louis and its satellites in Boston/Bedford, Chicago, Palm Beach and Teterboro, as well as Savannah Air Center. Madsen joined Midcoast Aviation in 2007 and has nearly 30 years of aviation industry experience.

Combining its MRO sales and service organizations, Midcoast Aviation has appointed Skip Madsen as vice president MRO in North America. Madsen now heads the combined MRO sales and service team at the company’s six locations and reports to Midcoast Aviation President Don Petersen.

“To better meet our customer’s demands in North America and to move to a more efficient structure, it was important for us to appoint one person to lead both the sales and operations sides of our MRO business,” said Petersen. “The new organizational structure will allow enhanced coordination between sales and production. Skip’s expertise will be put to good use in streamlining our processes and systems.”

“Midcoast has a strong history of providing excellent MRO support to operators of Challenger, Embraer, Falcon, Global, Gulfstream and Hawker aircraft,” said Madsen. “From quote preparation to final delivery of the aircraft, customers will experience seamless service at all our locations in North America. In addition, we also will intensify our cooperation with all Jet Aviation MRO operations in EMEA & Asia so that our customers are taken care of when in need of maintenance services while abroad.”
