Jet Aviation has appointed Frank Kusserow as new director and head of FBO services for EMEA & Asia effective immediately. Kusserow will continue in his role as director FBO at Jet Aviation Dusseldorf, Germany, and will work closely with all facility-based FBO directors throughout the EMEA & Asia region. In his new role, he will report directly to Christof Späth, senior vice president MRO & FBO services for EMEA & Asia. Jet Aviation recently established the new function of director FBO services EMEA & Asia to provide its clients with higher service standards throughout the company's FBO network. In this role, Kusserow will offer support to all locations by coordinating and managing regional FBO activities within the EMEA & Asia organization, including standardization of service delivery, operational flexibility, quality control, benchmarks and training. "I am pleased that Frank Kusserow will take on this new and important role within our growing EMEA & Asia FBO organization," says Christof Späth. "The major focus is to bring each of our FBOs to the highest level of premium service delivery, to be in-line with our customers' expectations, and to further develop our FBO network." Kusserow joined Jet Aviation Dusseldorf in May 2006 as manager FBO. Previously he worked in the aviation industry with companies such as Lufthansa, in Dusseldorf, and Wingco, in the United States. Since working for Jet Aviation, he successfully developed the new Jet Aviation FBO in Dusseldorf into one of Europe's leading FBO facilities, which recently was ranked among the top 10 FBOs for the EMEA & Asia region in a survey by a highly regarded international trade magazine. Worldwide, Jet Aviation operates a total of 14 FBOs, nine of which are located in EMEA & Asia.
