Jet Aviation restructures its MRO sales organization for EMEA & Asia

Markus T. Inäbnit

Basel, Switzerland  —  Jet Aviation recently announced that the company had restructured its Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) sales organization for EMEA & Asia into six regions and appointed Markus T. Inäbnit as vice president MRO sales. Inäbnit is based in Basel and leads a team of six newly appointed regional sales directors.

Jet Aviation recently established a new regionally focused MRO sales organization for EMEA & Asia to better serve the company's client base across six newly defined geographical regions. As new vice president MRO sales, Markus T. Inäbnit reports directly to Christof Späth, senior vice president MRO & FBO for EMEA & Asia. The new sales organization consists of six current Jet Aviation sales managers who have been assigned new responsibilities in their new roles as regional sales directors. In addition to the overall MRO sales organization for EMEA & Asia, selected local sales staff remains in place. They will continue to report to the respective general managers and will also coordinate their sales activities with Inäbnit in the future.

Newly appointed regional sales directors are:

- Hans Peter Thiessen (France, Spain, Portugal, Italy and Switzerland)
- Gregory Olympios (Southeastern Europe and Middle East)
- Oliver Bergsch (Central Europe and Russia)
- Bob Evans (UK, Scandinavia and Iceland)
- Arnold Imlig (Africa)
- Luke Chiang (Asia, Pacific Rim and Australia)

"With the establishment of the new MRO sales organization we are specifically focusing on individual markets and regions," says Christof Späth. He adds, "As a result clients will benefit from faster response time and a coordinated regional point of contact for all MRO services within the network."

Markus T. Inäbnit joined Jet Aviation in January 2008 as vice president key accounts from Honeywell Aerospace, where he served as director OEM sales based in Montreal, Canada. Since working for Jet Aviation, he successfully managed the company's relationship with selected key accounts and will continue to do so in addition to his new responsibilities.
