Jet Aviation adds more than 20 aircraft to managed fleet worldwide

Zurich, Switzerland  —  Aircraft management divisions in the U.S. and EMEA & Asia see significant growth

Jet Aviation's U.S. and EMEA & Asia aircraft management divisions have increased their managed fleet by more than 20 aircraft in 2009.

The aircraft types include the Falcon 50 and 900; Gulfstream GIII, GIV, GV, G550; and Bombardier Global Express, Challenger and Learjet. Seven of the aircraft also are available for charter services.

Jet Aviation provides global aircraft management and flight support services from its four operational bases, in Teterboro, N.J., USA; Zurich, Switzerland; Dubai, U.A.E.; and Hong Kong, China. The company currently manages more than 200 aircraft.

"We have seen a tremendous increase in demand for aircraft management and flight support services in recent months in Europe and Asia. It certainly helps that we have been in this business for more than 40 years and clients know that we make no compromises in service delivery, safety and quality regardless of the economic conditions," says Jürg Reuthinger, senior vice president and general manager, aircraft management division EMEA & Asia.

Robert Seidel, senior vice president aircraft management and charter services for the Americas, adds, "We are witnessing a similar trend in the United States. More and more aircraft owners and operators are looking for aircraft management companies that are capable of providing the full scope of aviation services and who have a long history of successfully meeting clients' specific needs."
