Midcoast Aviation, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Jet Aviation Group of Companies, offers line and base maintenance, interior completions and painting, while Jet Aviation St. Louis provides FBO, aircraft management and charter support services . The Midcoast St. Louis Downtown Airport facility has eight hangars with a total area of 500,000 square feet (45,000 sq. m.) - making it the company's largest facility in the United States. Located only minutes from downtown St. Louis, the operation provides a full scope of services: scheduled inspection, unscheduled repair, avionics repair and upgrades, engine service, interior design and refurbishment, exterior design and paint, structural repair or modification, and component and accessory service. St. Louis Downtown also is the primary location for Midcoast's completion of Bombardier aircraft flown there "green" from the manufacturer. The facility is an FAA Class IV authorized service center (#R03R822L) and holds EASA 145, Bermuda DCA, Cayman CAA and South Africa authorizations, allowing it to work on all makes and models of business jets. Midcoast Aviation maintains a presence at Lambert St. Louis International Airport since the company was founded in 1971. This includes two hangars totaling 42,000 square feet.
