Avionics is a combination of electronics and aviation. The entire electronics installed inside the aircraft fall under avionics.

Avionics maintenance involves overhauling the electronic system of the aircraft for repairs, replacements and general maintenance. It is very essential to take time and efforts for avionics maintenance in order to ensure a better and safer flying experience.

Things involved in Avionics Maintenance

For the aircraft to function properly each and every component must be in perfect working condition. Therefore avionics maintenance is of utmost importance. Jet Aviation’s avionics and engineering own valid certificates issued by the Federal Aviation Administrations and European aviation safety agencies of the respective facilities. Possessing the latest tools would enable easier and efficient diagnosis of any issue. Jet Aviation also offers a wide range of spare parts around the globe.

Avionics maintenance involves general troubleshooting and testing of the entire electronic equipment including the GPS, radio, DME, TAWS and other Avionics Engineering involved in the navigation, communication and monitoring of aircraft operations. The defective parts are repaired or installed. Installation of latest equipment should be done in an efficient manner. Only certified products must to be installed.
